About these terms
These terms apply when you use our website or buy our visa support service. The service is provided by Flyinbird Travels Ltd, registered in England and Wales, trading as FlyinBird. Holiday bookings also follow our Holiday Booking Terms.
By placing an order you agree to these terms, so please read them. If anything is unclear, email info@flyinbird.com or call +44 7999 108888 before you pay.
What we do, and what we can’t do
We are an independent company. We are not a government body, and we have no connection with any embassy, consulate or visa application centre. Depending on the package you choose, we:
- tell you which visa fits your trip and which documents you need;
- check your documents and application form before they’re submitted;
- help you find and book an appointment at the visa application centre;
- help you prepare for your appointment or interview.
What we can’t do:
- Guarantee a visa. Only the authorities decide, and they don’t have to give reasons.
- Guarantee an appointment date or processing time. Visa centres release slots and set timescales, not us.
- Give legal advice. If your case needs an immigration lawyer, we’ll tell you.
The guides and visa checker on our website are general information to help you plan. Requirements change, and your consultant’s checklist for your own application is the one to follow.
Our fees and how to pay
Our fee is charged per traveller, at the price shown for your package when you order. You can pay by card (processed by Stripe) or by bank transfer.
You can start the Flyinbird Advance package with a £49 deposit per traveller and pay the rest once your visa appointment is booked. We may pause work on your application until that balance is paid.
Our fee does not include:
- the government’s visa fee;
- visa application centre fees, including optional extras like premium lounges or courier return;
- translations, travel insurance, flights or hotel bookings, unless you’ve bought them from us.
We’ll always tell you about these costs before you need to pay them.
What we need from you
- Give us complete and honest information, and genuine documents. We won’t submit anything we believe is false or misleading.
- Send documents when we ask for them, so we can keep to your timeline.
- Check your application before it’s submitted. It’s made in your name and you are responsible for what it says.
- Make sure your passport is valid for long enough for the country you’re visiting.
- Turn up to your appointment on time with everything on your checklist.
- Wait until your visa is granted before booking travel you can’t cancel or change.
Cancelling and refunds
Your 14-day right to cancel
You can cancel within 14 days of placing your order, for any reason. If you’ve asked us to start work in that time, we’ll deduct a fair amount for the work already done. If we have already finished the service in full, for example your application has been submitted, the right to cancel no longer applies.
After 14 days
You can still cancel. We’ll refund any part of our fee for work we haven’t started.
If your visa is refused
Our fee pays for the work we’ve done, not for the decision, so it isn’t refunded if a visa is refused. Government and visa centre fees are set by the authorities and are almost never refundable. We’ll go through the refusal with you and tell you honestly whether applying again makes sense.
If we can’t provide the service
If we can’t do what we agreed for a reason within our control, we’ll refund you in full.
To cancel, email info@flyinbird.com. Refunds go back to the way you paid, within 14 days.
Our responsibility to you
We’ll provide the service with reasonable care and skill. If we don’t, we’ll put it right, or refund what you paid for the part that went wrong.
We are not responsible for:
- decisions, delays or mistakes by governments, embassies or visa application centres;
- appointment slots not being available;
- problems caused by information or documents you gave us being wrong or incomplete;
- losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or events outside our control.
Apart from the cases below, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service involved. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account that is being misused.

Complaints
If you’re not happy with our service, email info@flyinbird.com and tell us what happened. We’ll acknowledge it quickly and aim to give you a full reply within 14 days.
Law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
